The scheme offers the cover for hospitalization of the road accident victims in a Government hospital or in an empaneled hospital at the identified stretches. The treatment would be provided to the victim on cashless basis i.e., in case of treatment at an empaneled hospital, the victim will not be required to pay any expenses for the treatment up to the limit of Rs. 30,000/- per accident per victim or for the first 48 hours, starting from the time of start of treatment / hospitalization or till the limit of Rs. 30,000/- is reached / exhausted, whichever is earlier.
