The scheme is formulated with a view to save lives of accident victims by providing prompt response and appropriate medical care during “Golden Hour”, and thereby reduce fatalities and disabilities due to road accidents. The project envisages the transport of accident victims from the accident location to the nearby hospital facility and if required, from one hospital to another. It provides treatment at a public or private hospital for the first 48 hours from the time of hospitalization or providing necessary treatment up to a cost of Rs. 30,000/- whichever occurs earlier.

Provide hospitalization Insurance cover to all road accident victims (accidents from all types of vehicles / pedestrians) including drivers, passenger’s pedestrians, cyclist etc.
